Invisibility hides you. Safe Mode hides what is on your screen — for the coffee shop, the open-plan office, the train, or anywhere a shoulder is not yours. Chat carries on exactly as normal; only the pictures stop loading in front of you.

What it hides

  • Images posted in chat — in the rooms and in private messages.
  • Video posters — the still frame a clip shows before it plays.
  • The site logo — so a glance at the top of the screen gives nothing away.

  • Avatars and profile covers stay visible.
  • Profile photos and gallery photos stay visible.
  • It is a quick screen cover, not a content filter — the words on screen are untouched.
