Off Topic boards for the forum

Can we have a section where we can discuss stuff that could be related to the lifestyle but doesn't necessarily go into one particular board -
Health and well being springs to mind. It could cover topics such as after care or emotional dropping as well as more general topics such as experiences with mental health and cancer.
Also boards for stuff totally unrelated for example fun and games - word games, picture games etc.
In my experience I would avoid news, politics and religion as they tend to be too incendiary or revolve mostly around one country.

My thinking behind this is it could generate more traffic to the forum both from chat members and other people. If it attracts other people they could well migrate to the lifestyle boards and in turn join in the chat.
Also the advantage that the fora have over chat is you can leave a post and people will come back to it when they are about, so even when no one else is online you can still interact with your friends and potentially make new ones.

Games! Yes please. Sometimes, chatting with someone new in the threads can be a fun ice breaker.

Another board that I think might be interesting is one for short stories (1000 words?) and poems.
I have written a few stories and published a few books and know that there are others here that like to write. This could give them a place to share their talent and to give something for others to read.
It could also attract people that enjoy writing and could feed them into the chat side of things. Some places I have been there seems to be a division between chat and writers, but here the community is so welcoming and non-judgemental that I don't think it would be an issue... or at least would be a self correcting one.

While considering the requests above...
Last night/This morning talking to a few people on the chat side, we were talking about books and films and several thought that another good addition to the forum would be a board dedicated to the subject.
'Books, TV and Movies'
Or something similar
Thank you.

They're being read, but it's important to keep in mind the type of message boards these are.
Thank you for the confirmation.
I am keeping in mind that this is a BDSM forum/message board, but just like IRL, even most full time lifestyle people have vanilla interests, be it reading or writing or cinema or anything else you can think of.
When thinking about my response I thought you might call it the Munch section. All the info I have is that most munches have a vanilla dress code and while there are aspects of the lifestyle discussed, topics of conversation can be of anything. Munches are also the place where people new to the lifestyle often have their 1st introduction to it beyond research and online interactions. There is nothing to say that the topics in the non-lifestyle boards wouldn't have crossovers with the lifestyle ones.
Having those boards could be a way for people to ease themselves into the site, get to know people in a less intense way than the chat rooms. For some people all the real world nerves and shyness are present even in online chatrooms.
Even for those that are comfortable diving straight in, they could be a great way of getting to know people they have met, better or meeting people that are on at different times.
My whole intent is for this forum and the chatrooms to become vibrate places with people wanting to learn and discuss the lifestyle in a totally safe and non-judgemental atmosphere. Without numbers, the places will be like ghost towns and eventually the site will be deemed a failure and that would be awful as I see a fantastic foundation already in place.
